For the love of- that previous journal has been up for months, and was so out of date it was painful. I don't even work in construction anymore. It didn't work out, but only because the distance was just too great. 80 miles a day round-trip is a killer with gas prices this high. Got a steady job, that's pretty much the news, and haven't been on here in, you guessed it, months. Haven't produced a piece of art in that time as well. Gotta say I miss it, but can't do much about it until I figure out what the plan is going to be when I move. When I do come back, I'll bring the tutorials people have been wanting with me. Well, I have a new job *cough*finally*cough hack*, and it may be tough, but it's the best paying job I have come across to date, surprisingly, based on what it is. I now work in construction, of all things, and I have to say, the pay is a lot better than I ever thought it would be. We'll see how well things go with this, I'm a bit afraid of heights ;P , but I don't think I will have to deal with that alot, as this company focuses on drywall and sheetrock, not building framing. Thank you all for your support through the hard times. I think it really has sunk in that Saila did die peacefully, which is more than most anyone can hope for nowadays. She's a lucky girl to have gotten that gift, on top of the absolutely privilaged life she lived. So knowing that, I feel at peace with all of it. Somehow, when I look at the piece "Companions" now, it just means so much more to me. I feel like I'm looking at something that is happening right at that moment, that they're sleeping together peacefully, finally together again.
